Tradition of Old Town

A Coveted Membership

To be eligible to become a member of Pinehurst Country Club, you must own property within the Village. As a homeowner in The Tradition of Old Town, you'll automatically become a member of the most exclusive golf club in the world.

Pinehurst Resort has been named the World's Best Golf Resort by Travel & Leisure Golf three of the past four years. Since its creation in 1895, it's been the home of American golf. It's not only where Donald Ross began his career - designing course Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5 - it's where he made his home. The renowned Pinehurst No. 2 has hosted more golf tournaments than any other course in America, including the U.S. Open, the Ryder Cup and the PGA Championship. And the best names in the game - from Ben Hogan and Sam Snead to Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicholas to Payne Stewart and Tiger Woods - have been playing here since the club was formed in 1898.

Golf Courses

As a member of this world-renowned club, you'll have access to six Pinehurst courses designed by Donald Ross and Tom and George Fazio. For a nominal fee, you can also become a member of Fairwoods on 7 which includes an additional Rees Jones-designed championship course. Every Membership includes the incomparable Pinehurst No. 2, site of the 1999, 2005 and soon to be 2014 U.S. Open Championships and one of the greatest golf courses of all time.

Pinehurst Golf Academy

Challenge courses as famous as those who've played them with invaluable guidance from a "Top 100" Golf Instructor, three practice facilities - with members only sand traps - and some of the best Member-run golf organizations in the country.

The Spa

A luxury spa, awarded four-star status by Mobil Travel Guide, is just a short stroll away. The Spa at Pinehurst is the perfect place to forget your worries. Members receive weekly discounts and monthly specials. Indulge yourself with a stimulating facial or aromatherapy massage.
